Summer in Greece

Kos. The most beautiful, yet weird Island I have been to. I’ve been to a lot of places but none as good as this. On holiday I’m one of those people who needs to seriously relax, but I also want to be up and active all the time. Contradicting right?

I thought I’d share some of my favourite memories, in chronological order of course, from my 8 days away on this beautiful island!

Generic flying photo of course, look how amazing the sunset is looking! This was around 6pm UK time.

My morning view, on my first day being there. I wish I had taken a photo of the room we had so I could show you how modern yet quirky it was. I loved it.

Who doesn’t want to see a beautiful waterfall every morning as they’re on their way to breakfast? And yes, you could jump right into this pool.

Had to share my holiday nails with you. Turquoise is my GO TO colour, always.

Clearly not trying to show off my nails again here.

We had free pedlo boats on our resort, so that was A LOT of fun too. Here’s a photo of my part of the island I stayed on, Kardamena.

Who needs Greek food when in Greece? I MANAGED TO FIND A WAFFLE PLACE!

My favourite summer watch and bracelet combo. Olive Tree and all of that because, Greeks love their olive oil apparently.

We couldn’t actually swim in this pool, but it was so aesthetically pleasing to look at anyway. The main bar, slightly unenthusiastic during the day, but unreal at night.

Outside views.. the front entrance.

A boat trip, out in the sea. Oh my goodness, it was SO blue. I had never actually been into the sea before in my life anywhere, so I decided what a time to jump off the boat and straight in.

*inserts weird gif of this experience below*

Excuse the bad quality, best it is going to get.. but can we just laugh at how much I was kicking my legs, literally like my life was going to end. The salt kept me a float, yet I was still kicking as if my life depended on it.

The boat visited three islands. This being the most mainland one of them, Kalimnos I think it was called. The first had less than 30 people living on it, all it had was a supermarket and a bar. The other, ONE man lived on it, it had his house and a church. It was so fascinating considering I live in busy, built up London.

Again, back on the resort at midday. I’m just showing off now honestly, I loved it.

Off guard photo, whilst a maintenance man decided to join in the picture also off guard.

It was an unreal holiday. I hope I can go back there one day!

With love kiddos,

Charls x
